The Nets have announced that Deron and Amy Williams are the proud parents of a son, their fourth child.
"Deron & Amy are excited to welcome little Desmond into the world this afternoon. Baby & mom happy & healthy," according to the announcement.
Williams is expected to return to the Nets Sunday. The Nets play the Clippers Friday, the Celtics Sunday.
