A Nets insider talking about Deron Williams said something that was simple, obvious and yet profound the other day. "He makes everyone better," he said. "There's a comfort level whenever he is on the court." As the saying goes, confidence breeds success breeds confidence, etc.
"The Nets are going into every game now with more belief and more confidence," writes Al Iannazzone. "And it should stay like that every game for the remaining 20 of the regular season." There's still the issue of Williams staying beyond the end of 2012, but in the meantime, the team is a lot better and not just because of the addition of one player's skills. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
