Deron Williams has taken six flights and played three games in four nights since he was traded. Now, he's in London, jet-lagged, with a strained right wrist and a bruised left hand. With NBA TV shoots and all-Star status, he's the biggest star on the London stage the Nets and Raptors play on, the man everyone wants to talk to.
Problem is his hands are so bad he may not play Friday. He told reporters Wednesday he would need three weeks of rest to be completely healed and he's not going to take it. But he might sit in the first game vs. the Raptors
Even with his hurting hands, Williams has been extraordinary. His 47 assists since joining the Nets are the most for a player in his first three games with a new team.
