Brandan Wright wants to stick around New Jersey, maybe even move to Brooklyn. He just likes what he sees with the Nets and where they're going.
"You know that the owner [Mikhail Prokhorov] has the right priorities and the new arena's being built," Wright told HoopsWorld's Alex Raskin. "There' all this positive energy. You definitely want to be a part of that."
He hasn't played but six minutes and Avery Johnson says the team is going to evaluate him the rest of this season. Although he hints that the Nets see Wright as a tweener, that's not a bad thing. Johnson thinks he might have another Thaddeus Young in the making.
"We like his attitude; he's very comfortable, long," said Avery Johnson. You saw him, we ran a lob for him. He almost had his head above the rim. We're continuing to evaluate him and we'll see where we're at at the end of the year."
