Steve Adamek, the Record's Knick beat writer, was talking to Zach Randolph following New York's last second win over the Grizzlies Wednesday and asked him and Memphis' other free agent, Marc Gasol, where they could see themselves next season.
"Randolph mentioned the Nets as a possible fit," wrote Adamek. "But like Gasol (younger brother of Pau), he said he’d like to stay in Memphis and keep building on this season’s revival, which could land the Grizzlies in the playoffs."
The 6'10" power forward is averaging 20.2 points and 12.8 rebounds. Should he finish above 20 and 10 this season, it would be the fourth time in the last five years the 29-year-old has hit those marks.
