The Nets are 1-7 without Jordan Farmar, including a 1-5 stretch with their back-up point guard nursing a strained lower back over the last two weeks. Farmar practiced on Tuesday and said he was a little sore afterward, but he will return for Wednesday's game against the Hornets at the Prudential Center.
Avery Johnson said however that he's not making any changes to the starting lineup, adding the current group has until the All-Star Break to prove themselves.
Meanwhile, the NBA announced the six competitors for the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest at All-Star Weekend, and Anthony Morrow, the second best 3-point shooter in NBA history, was not on the list. The competitors are Ray Allen, Kevin Durant, Daniel Gibson, James Jones, Paul Pierce and Dorell Wright.
