Dr. J: Forever a Net

New, comments

Julius Erving talked about the Nets past and future this week when he (and Devin Harris) accepted Thurman Munson awards in Manhattan.

Of his past, Dr. J spoke of the Nets as his spite of what he accomplished with the 76ers. "I’m always going to be attached at the hip to the franchise," he said. "I’ll always be connected with them even though my stay was only three years".

And of the future, he predicted great success at Barclays Center. "There are so many people in Brooklyn that they’re going to have their own audience," said Erving.
