After suggesting that Jordan Farmar would be back Friday against the Pistons, Avery Johnson announced that Farmar will not travel with the team to Detroit and won't be available for Sunday's home game vs. the Pacers either. With Farmar's back not responding as well as anticipated, Farmar underwent an MRI Thursday. The results were negative and he is listed day-to-day.
So expect more burn for both Ben Uzoh, who's played well in Farmar's absence, and Orien Greene, named to the D-League All-Star team Wednesday.
In 24 minutes over two games, Uzoh has scored 13 points, handed out five assists and shot 4-for-7. He's also had three steals and only two turnovers.
