Derrick Favors was one of nine rookies on the list when the NBA announced the rosters for the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam on Tuesday. The game will be played on Friday, Feb. 18 and televised at 9 p.m. ET on TNT.
Favors ranks eighth among qualified rookies in scoring, fifth in rebounds, and third in blocks. The rest of the rookie roster is John Wall, Blake Griffin, Eric Bledsoe, DeMarcus Cousins, Landry Fields, Wesley Johnson, Greg Monroe, and Gary Neal.
This will be the sixth straight year that the Nets have had a player in the Rookie Game: Nenad Krstic (Soph) in 2006, Marcus Williams (Rookie) in 2007, Sean Williams (Rookie) in 2008, and Brook Lopez in both 2009 and 2010.
