Looming over the Brooklyn skyline is one of the Nets' big selling points for free agents, the billion dollar arena Avery Johnson says will be the "Taj Mahal" of basketball emporiums (as opposed to the "Mecca"?).
The Barclays Center has now reached the halfway point, with most of the remaining work on the inside.
The latest images show the Barclays Center's roof is nearly half enclosed, much of the glass at the main entrance is in place and the facade is now going up along Flatbush, but the real progress is made inside. Elevators are being installed; framing and wall board is going up at the "Nets Campus", also known as the locker room, and the entire upper bowl precast will be completed in December..
Meanwhile, the Nets will unveil their Farewell New Jersey logo officially on Wednesday.
