After Saturday's game, there were a lot of assessments and re-assessments about individual and team play, but Dennis Horner's was kind of unique in how frank it was. "My mind set is I have nothing to lose, so why not just go out here and give it my all?" he said. "If I don’t make it, at least I got my foot in the door the first time."
And so he did. The 6'9" Horner scored four points, grabbed four rebounds, handed out three assists and had one emphatic block on Jared Jeffries. Not bad for a Jersey Shore kid who played in Belgium and Cyprus last season and was the Armor's third round pick. It got noticed. He earned praise not just from Avery Johnson, but from Deron Williams and Brook Lopez.
