Ken Berger, off lockout duty, reports that the Nets are one of six teams who's expressed interest in Nene and he suggests the 6'11" forward/center may command the maximum salary. The six teams who have registered interest, according to Berger's source: the Warriors, Pacers, Mavericks, Rockets, Heat and the Nets.
The Brazilian big man would like to wind up in Miami or Dallas, but that's become more difficult under the new CBA. In an update, Berger reported, " The Nets would have room sign Nene to a max deal starting at 30 percent of the cap -- $17.4 million -- if they used amnesty on Travis Outlaw".
