The Nets' positions of need in the upcoming (and abbreviated) free agency period are the two forward spots. But shooting guard Jamal Crawford is reportedly on their list. And if they indeed want Crawford, his new agent may give them an edge.
Frank Isola of the Daily News writes that, on Sunday, Crawford hired Andy Miller, who works out of New Jersey and has ties to the Knicks and Nets. Isola adds that Crawford would be a better fit next to Deron Williams than with the Knicks, who don't necessarily need more offense.
