Rumor is that the Nets will open their season in Washington vs. the Wizards the day after Christmas with a home opener in Newark a day or two after that, but no one knows for sure. The number of games to be played at Prudential Center isn't set yet either. It could be 31 if the London Games survive; 33 if they don't. There may be a preseason game or two.

Still, with Barclays Center marching towards completion in Brooklyn, New Jersey fans have to be happy with the prospect of watching any games after a five-month lockout that almost ended in a canceled season. It will be the last of 34, played in three venues in three cities. Expect some promotions and a lot of nostalgia, but really, not that many fans.
