We will keep chronicling the up-and-down season of Bojan Bogdanovic till it stabilizes. Could be a while. Problem is that his team, Fenerbahce, is having the same issues. Bogdanovic was expected to be one of the leading scorers in Europe this season and his Istanbul club was supposed to a Euroleague and Turkish League power. Neither has happened.
The Nets draft pick played only 12 minutes in Sunday's loss, scoring 10 points on 3-for-9 shooting (he can put them up) as Fener was blown out by Turk Telecom, Mehmet Okur's team. Bogdanovic has two years left on his contract before his NBA "out" kicks in, although the Nets have said they hope to bring him over next season. There's been no information on how big his buyout is or whether the NBA will increase what teams can pay overseas clubs. It's currently $500,000.
