Morrow, Brooks Looking at Lockout, Making Different Plans For Future

The Nets think a lot of Anthony Morrow and MarsShon Brooks. Putting either (and maybe even both of them) at the wing in an offense run by Deron Williams should produce something the Nets were bad at last year: scoring points.  But it's October and both of them are instead shooting at lonely baskets in Charlotte and Providence.

Morrow is on the verge of going overseas, but has to move soon.  It's not for the money, reports Al Iannazzone. It's about playing basketball with someone other than Justin Bieber. Brooks has decided to forgo an overseas gig and instead is finishing his degree and hanging around with players at Providence, where Friday night he judged a slam dunk contest. Brooks is also studying something else as well: a video playbook the Nets gave him.
