There are main story lines here. Both teams coming off tough losses, the Nets a blow-out in Washington, the Bucks an overtime thriller to the Heat. The Bucks are the worst offensive team in the NBA, the Nets second worst and Chris Douglas-Roberts returns to New Jersey after being traded last summer for a second round pick that the Nets have already traded away.
CDR played a tough role in the loss to the Heat. With 26 seconds left, Douglas-Roberts was fouled by Dwyane Wade and went on to miss both free throws, the second rattling twice off the rim. He finished one point from matching his career high with the Nets. The Bucks are among the biggest disappointments in the NBA this season. In spite of last year's playoff run and an active off-season they are third in their division and have lost three in a row and seven of the last 10.
For the Nets, the questions are: can they bounce back after an ugly loss and will Devin Harris recover quickly enough from his thigh contusion to play a significant role. Avery Johnson thinks he can.
