Details are starting to emerge on the Nets' Russian Night on January 19. The program will be sponsored by Aeroflot, the Russian airline, and coordinated with help from the Russian American Foundation in New York. The Nets have not yet released the program for the evening, but their Russian language website has announced the team will hold a competition January 10 connected to the event. Russian-speaking children will compete for a chance to sing the U.S. National Anthem at the game between the Nets and Utah Jazz, who of course feature Andrei Kirilenko, one of two Russian players in the NBA. Mikhail Prokhorov is expected to attend.
