Game 35 - Nets vs. Bulls - Wednesday, January 5, 7:00

It's all new again.  The Nets have an opportunity to avenge ther last loss of 2010 when the Bulls come to Newark.  Chicago manhandled the Nets in the Windy City and now get a chance to correct that in the Brick City.  The Bulls have won five straight after beating up the Raptors Tuesday night at home.

Although Derrick Rose had a mediocre game against the Nets on New Year's Eve, he isn't struggling overall.  He's averaged better than 24 a game over the last ten.  Carlos Boozer is averaging more. Even Luol Deng has gotten in the groove.  He, Rose and Boozer all had better than 20 points the night after beating the Nets. Moreover, the Bulls have limited their opponents to 86.4 points over the last 15 games.

As for the Nets, you have to hope that a four-game rest will help them re-charge rather than rust.  Troy Murphy (flu) and Jordan Farmar (knee) should be back after practicing Tuesday.  Although the Nets can sign a player to a 10-day pact starting Wednesday, don't expect anyone new in uniform vs. the Bulls.
