Richard Hamilton has been to the NBA Finals twice and won it all once with the Pistons. Along with Tayshaun Prince and Ben Wallace, he's the last link to the mid-decade glory days, but he believes his last days as a Piston are approaching along with a trade to New Jersey.
When asked if he will play for the Pistons again, after his second DNP-CD, the man known as Rip replied, "I don't know. I really don't know," he said. "The way it's been going, I don't think so, but you never know. I just say it's one of those things where I stay ready."
Hamilton left no doubt as to whether he wants to leave Detroit, if he has to deal with Coach John Kuester's rotations.
"Do I want to play? Yeah. Do I want to be on the floor competing? Yes. Am I doing that right now? No," Hamilton said.
