In his latest take on the Carmelo Anthony situation, Adrian Wojnarowski writes that Anthony's agents, Leon Rose and William Wesley, are pushing him to New Jersey, each for their own reasons. Rose is loyal to Richard Hamilton and concocted the three-team deal with the Pistons, while Wesley wants to get inside Mikhail Prokhorov's inner circle.
According to Woj, the plan is for Chris Paul to follow Anthony to the Nets. Wojnarowski also notes that Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke is the one who pulled the plug on the 14-player deal that was discussed over the weekend, because the Nuggets were taking back too much salary.
