Barclays Center Open in 16 Months?

How convenient.  The Nets have released the latest photo of construction at Barclays Center. Taken Monday, it shows steel has reached the suite concourse level along Atlantic Avenue. The Brooklyn arena is on pace to open in late spring/early summer 2012, the team noted in a release accompanying the photo. That would mean somewhere between May and July, suggesting an opening as little as 16 months from now.  The team had recently put the opening in the summer of 2012.
