With the Carmelo Anthony talk dying down for the time being, the Nets were back on the practice floor on Wednesday. Troy Murphy was not, but he's expected to get his first contact practice in on Monday. In his place, Kris Humphries has been scrimmaging with the first team, which has Anthony Morrow at shooting guard over Terrence Williams.
Meanwhile, the Nets made their first cut on Wednesday afternoon, sending Andre Brown home after just five days of practice.
