Multiple sources in Philadelphia and Denver report the 76ers and Nuggets are talking about a trade that would send Andre Iguodala to the Nuggets for Carmelo Anthony.
Quoting "a Western conference executive", the Philadelphia Daily News reports that Philly GM Ed Stefanski is trying to take advantage of the snags in the four-team talks for Anthony by offering Denver Iguodala, fresh from the FIBA World Championships.
Other players would need to be involved in the trade to match salaries, reports Phil Jasner & Bob Cooney of the Daily News and Steven A. Smith reports another team would have to be added. The Sixers are not one of the teams that Anthony is reportedly willing to play for. The Philly front office, of course, is headed by Rod Thorn and Stefanski replaced Billy King as GM two and a half years ago.
