In Rookie Survey, Favors Gets (Some) Respect

In a survey of the 40 rookies at the Rookie Photo Shoot last month, it was no surprise that his fellow freshmen thought John Wall had the brightest future.  Nearly 40% of the rookies--38.5% think Wall will be rookie of the year and a somewhat lower percentage--23.7%--think Wall will have the best career.

One reason for the drop-off is that Derrick Favors, the youngest of the 40, is seen as having a good chance of having a better career.  Ten per cent of the rookies think Favors will have the best career of their number.  Favors did get some votes for ROY, as well as for best defender.

Damion James received a few votes for most overlooked, best defender and funniest rookie in the class.
