Farmar Adjusting to New Coach, New Team, New Jersey

Ben Couch continues his series on the newest Nets, focusing Tuesday on Jordan Farmar, whose complex background makes him of the team's more interesting players. Farmar willingly left the comforts of  L.A., including the weather, the string of world championships and celebrity that comes with getting to season's final game in high school, college and the NBA.

Farmar says Avery Johnson, who persuaded him to join the Nets, is the latest in a string of successful but very different coaches who've tutored him.  The 23-year-old also talks about his life, his multi-cultural heritage, his charity. He notes he's already brought his foundation to New Jersey, arranging for a number of underprivileged kids to attend Opening Night as his guest.
