As the new season approaches, it's going to be hectic...and require a lot of odd-hour scheduling. In fact, fans may need a 24-hour clock and globe to track their Nets. In the space of 11 days from October 9-20, the team will travel 17,000 miles, play five games in five cities, hold an open practice in another and circle the Earth.

The NBA is letting the Nets (and other teams with international commitments) open their training camp three days earlier. They'll also get a week off between their last preseason game and first regular season game...and play their first four regular season games at home.

Tickets for Opening Night go on sale Monday while tickets for other home games go on sale September 23. (Tickets for two other "home" games, those in London on March 4 and 5, are already available.)
