International Flavor to Preseason

The Nets will spent a lot of time this October checking atlases.

They open their preseason with a game against Maccabi Haifa, one of Israel's top teams, then after three games vs. Atlantic Division rival Celtics and 76ers, will head to Beijing and Guangzhou for the NBA China Games. The Nets will finish off their eight-same schedule with away games vs. the Knicks and Celtics. The Nets will have a week between the final preseason game and season opener vs. the Pistons on October 27.

The Nets will play three of the eight games at their new home, Newark's Prudential Center, starting with the Maccabi Haifa game on October 3.  They will also play the Celtics and 76ers at home just before departing for China.  NBA TV has not announced whether the NBA China Games will be broadcast, but they will played early morning, East Coast time.
