The Nets would seem to have plenty of "breakout" candidates for a number of reasons: they're likely to be the one of the youngest if not the youngest team in the NBA; they have players who'll have new opportunities with the Nets they didn't have before; as well as others who want to get back to where they once belonged after that 12-70 anomaly.
But DIME predicts that Terrence Williams is one of the most likely "breakout" candidate in the whole NBA...once Avery Johnson figures out where to play him.
"But wherever it is, the second-year kid is ready to explode," writes DIME. "If the Nets are better as a team, T-Will should make a name for himself."
