Everything seems fine between Rod Thorn and Billy King. Thorn did hire King and King said Thursday he'd told Thorn "he'd be good [with the 76ers] even before I knew he was talking to them. I thought they’d call him and they did." King added, "I’ll talk to him about trades, I’ve been talking to him ever since he took the job".
But Tony Mejia thinks that's too bad. He'd like a rivalry to break out and thinks there is "bad blood" already between the clubs, adding with a dash of relish, "it's going to be hard for the competitive Prokhorov not to see Thorn's decision to join Philadelphia as an affront."
