LeBron Not Likely But Nets Hope Like Everyone Else

The latest is that LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will try to emulate the Celtics' Big Three and try for a ring or two or three with the Heat.  What seemed unlikely last week now seems more and more like a done deal.

As for the Nets, what seemed hopeful last week now seems desperate as they struck out with every key piece and are left with little hope to secure The King, friendship, billions and blueprint aside.

Still, they hope with Rod Thorn continuing to say no one's told them it's over.  Of course, that message could come down anytime right up to the 9 p.m. interview on ESPN.  He'll be watching like everyone else.
