With some excavation underway and foundation work beginning, new videos of the Barclays Center construction site show workmen well below street level at one corner of the arena footprint.
The arena floor will be sunken, about 25 feet below street level, at the corner of Atlantic and Flatbush avenues in Brooklyn.
With some buildings, like Daniel Goldstein's condominium, still standing, the arena footprint has yet to be fully carved up, but the videos show workmen laying out the footings in an area well below street level where trucks have already moved material away.
The videos were shot Wednesday and Thursday by an arena critic and posted to YouTube.
