Mike Krzyzewski has a radical solution for Team USA's lack of big men: put 6'10" Lamar Odom in the low post.
Amare Stoudemire had to drop out because he couldn't get his surgically repaired knee insured. David Lee dropped out because he sprained his middle finger in practice and Robin Lopez dropped out as a precautionary measure, resting his back.
So Krzyzewski is thinking about options...like Odom. Brook Lopez understands it's not being about the last man standing. "Regardless of how many bigs are here, I still have to put my best foot forward," the Nets’ center said. "I can’t come out here and play terrible and expect to get picked if I’m the only big here."
