In the novel "1984", inconvenient or troublesome materials were sent down the "memory hole", never to be seen again. Brett Yormark hopes he can do the same with fans' recollections of the team's 12-70 record last season.
He thinks he's off to a good start.
Even though season ticket renewals are only "on pace", new season ticket packages have reached 2,200, a record which Yormark attributes to his "It's All New" campaign--new arena, new owner, new coach, new draft pick, new players (but not LeBron James).
"You don’t hear people talk about that and you haven’t for months," he says of the Nets' record.
