Mikhail Prokhorov's Onexim Group has agreed to lease 2,500 square feet in the Seagram Building on Park Avenue. Prokhorov plans to use the space as his business office when he's in town. It will serve as an office for Onexim Sports and Entertainment USA, the company that holds his 80% stake in the Nets and 45% of Barclays Center.
Irina Pavlova is president of Onexim USA and will presumably have her office in the Seagrams Building. Speculation now turns to whether Prokhorov will purchase an apartment in the city. "He's the best to come along in a long time," Dolly Lenz, a Prudential Douglas Elliman broker, tells the Wall Street Journal. "He's all the buzz right now."
