The Nets aren't just meeting with the Big Three of free agents. They have already started making contact with others. Yahoo! Sports reports that the team has called Raymond Felton of the Bobcats as well as the previously mentioned David Lee and Rudy Gay.
Marc J. Spears and Fred Kerber report that the Nets are indeed targeting Chris Bosh with Lee as their fall back power forward. New Jersey's interest in Amare Stoudemire has waned with concerns he made need another knee surgery. Adrian Wojnarowski says the Nets and Timberwolves are front-runners for Gay...assuming the Nets don't succeed in their wooing of LeBron James.
Meanwhile, it appears that the Hawks will get Joe Johnson's signature on a $119 max deal, taking one of the Knicks' top targets off the market.
