The Nets have between five and seven roster spots to fill between now and October, and they hope that a couple will be taken up by All-Stars. No matter what they do in the first week of free agency, they'll probably be in need of some cheap labor at the end of the summer. The Summer League roster is the first place to look for guys who the team might like to fill out their inactive list in the fall. At worst, one or two of these guys will be in training camp.
