TWill Finally Gets Some Love...And a Lot of It

Terrence Williams has been a revelation to Nets fans for the past five weeks and now the rookie rankers have caught up.  Both Drew Packham of NBA.com and David Thorpe of ESPN rank TWill in their top ten, and with the season winding down, the rankings deal with both what they did last week as well as what they could do in their careers.

In Packham's weekly rankings, Williams finished eighth, his first visit to the top 10 in months.  Packham notes that TWill averaged 16.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists in the Nets three games this week.

Thorpe is even more effusive in his praise.  He believes Williams will have at least the 10th best career of this year's rookie class and notes how he could benefit from the change in ownership: "I can't write enough about what this guy has done lately. He's made a believer out of me (no small task, considering how he started the season)". Both cite his new maturity.
