Cross another one off the list. Tuesday morning, Peter Vecsey hinted that John Calipari could be on his way back to New Jersey. "Don't be surprised if one day real soon John Calipari resurfaces as a suitor to run the Nets' front office and sideline".
By Tuesday afternoon, Calipari was on the radio in Kentucky knocking it down. "Now, they'll throw in my name at the NBA (level), and I have no interest. But there (is) no way they can come back and say, 'He wants this job, that job.' It ain't gonna affect our recruiting." Calipari of course was the Nets coach for a little more than two years, going 72-110 but getting the Nets to the playoffs in 1998.
