The Nets had won five times as many games as the Wizards had since March 1st, but Washington completed a season sweep with a start-to-finish victory on Sunday. The Nets seemed to be feeling the effects of the back-to-back, shooting poorly from the perimeter for most of the night. The Wizards took control early and were up 18 late in the third quarter. A 21-7 Nets run spanning the third and fourth got them to within four with more than seven minutes to go, but they couldn't get any stops down the stretch. Both teams shot 49 percent from the field, but the difference was on the boards, where the Wizards outrebounded the Nets 40-30. Brook Lopez and Devin Harris each had 22 points for the Nets, with Terrence Williams and Chris Douglas-Roberts each scoring double-figures off the bench. But they had just 14 assists as a team, 20 fewer than they had a night before. The Wizards, led by Andray Blatche's near triple-double, scored 100 points for the first time since February 26 and swept the season series with the Nets for the first time since 1988.
