The back-end of a home-and-away back-to-back following an emotional double-overtime win...doesn't sound like a lot of sleep.
The Nets were expected to arrive in their Indianapolis hotel at about 4:00 a.m. Saturday, perhaps exhausted, no doubt exhilarated. Indiana is in a similar situation. They beat the Cavs in a tight one Friday night in Cleveland. And while Terrence Williams had a great game for the Nets, so did Danny Granger for the Pacers. He scored 36 points, the seventh time in the last 10 games he's scored 30. So they're pretty much even.
The Pacers have played well lately, particularly at home. They're 9-2 over their last 11 games. At home during that stretch, they've gone 7-1. As Mike Dunleavy Jr. said recently, "We're paid for 82 games, so we must perform and improve throughout the whole season."
