The Nets are heading to Atlanta, but not before getting a tough practice in. They earned it with Sunday's embarrassing performance against the Celtics.
"Practice was just what we needed," Kris Humphries tweeted afterward. "Time to start carrying it over to the game."
Avery Johnson said Monday that his team is relying too much on Devin Harris and Brook Lopez offensively, so Troy Murphy may see more minutes and more touches on Tuesday. Johnson also said that, after two bad Sunday afternoon performances, he may switch up his team's schedule for this Sunday's matchup with the Lakers.
Despite the need to shake things up, Terrence Williams is remaining in the D-League for the time being and won't be on this two-game trip. But the Nets seem happy with Williams' work with Springfield thus far.
