Nets Still Want 'Melo, Want to Keep Harris

Following up on Ken Berger's report of Wednesday, Al Iannazzone reports that the Nets have not been told Carmelo Anthony is opposed to signing an extension with the team and until they hear differently, they'll continue to pursue him.  However, Iannazzone adds that Devin Harris wouldn't be part of a proposed trade unless they got a point guard in return.

Harris, Iannazzone reports, is a lure the Nets hope to use to attract Anthony.  The Nets believe Harris’ play has helped his trade value, but also think holding on to him could help bring Anthony to Newark, Iannazzone writes. Derrick Favors and two draft picks--the Nets' 2011 pick and the Warriors' 2012 pick--remain the key pieces.
