Favors Gets Support in Exec Poll

Blake Griffin is having a monster start to his NBA career. His 44-point dunkathon staggered fans and NBA executives alike. So is he going to have that much better a career than Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins? Not according to an informal poll of six execs by NBA.com's Scott Howard-Cooper.

Howard-Cooper asked the six to rank the three rookie big men and was surprised to see two of them rank Favors either ahead of Griffin or right with him. Two put Favors third.

"It's really close between two of them," one respondent said of Griffin and Favors. "I definitely don't take the other guy."

"Favors 1, Griffin 2, Cousins way behind at 3," said another.
