Ben Couch tweets that Troy Murphy is "going full-on in scrimmage", having recovered sufficiently from his sore foot, but Terrence Williams is "on the sidelines again" at Friday's practice. TWill has missed two games since straining an abdominal muscle in practice.
The Nets play the Magic Saturday night in Newark. Al Iannazzone adds Avery Johnson doesn't expect Williams to play until next week's West Coast road trip...it's "highly unlikely." Murphy is likely to play, but Johnson hasn't decided if he'll start. That means Kris Humphries, who put up big numbers vs. Cleveland, is the likely starter. That would be the Kris Humphries who's shooting 72% overall this season, 100 percent on shots less than 10 feet from the rim, and declining comment on his relationship with Kim Kardashian.
