He's seven feet tall and shooting 38.1% from the floor. In his last five games, he's averaging 10.5 ppg and shooting 26.8%. In a critical game, with a five-game losing streak on the line, he sat late in the fourth quarter. It's the worst stretch of Brook Lopez's career and he admits he's concerned.
"I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t, a little (concerned)," Lopez acknowledged, who said he'll put in more work and "continue to fight through it."
His coach, Avery Johnson, insists he isn't concerned about Lopez...but does say he kept Kris Humphries (13, 18, 3 and 2) and Derrick Favors on the court in the fourth because they were hot, implying his center was not.
