Murphy's X-ray and MRI Negative; Uzoh May Go to Springfield Armor

Troy Murphy had an X-ray and an MRI on the sore right foot that kept him out of Wednesday's win in Cleveland. Both came back negative and Murphy is listed as day-to-day.

The Nets had the day off Thursday and will practice on Friday before Saturday night's game against the Magic.

In discussing the agreement with the Springfield Armor, Billy King suggested the Nets will be more likely to send players to the D-League knowing the Armor is run by their own people. Springfield is currently the affiliate for the Nets as well as the Knicks and 76ers.  King also said back-up point guard Ben Uzoh might be sent down to the D-League team soon. The Armor starts play November 19. Springfield already has undrafted Villanova All-American Scottie Reynolds on its roster.
