In case you are suffering from Melo withdrawal, Marc Stein has an FAQ on the situation. As has been previously written, Stein says that the Nets are focused on a two or three-team trade, with Derrick Favors still as the focal point, to get Carmelo Anthony from the Nuggets. The third team could be Portland, who tried to get in on the four-way trade that fell apart as camps opened, hoping to upgrade at point guard from Andre Miller to Devin Harris. The Knicks are also trying to get help from the Blazers in their pursuit of Anthony.
Meanwhile, Johan Petro was asked about former teammate. And while Petro likes Anthony as both a player and a person, he'd rather the Nets keep what they have.
