DeMarcus Cousins is having a terrific preseason, averaging 16.4 points and 9.6 rebounds in only 25 minutes. He's even made three of four three point attempts. Derrick Favors, taken two spots ahead of Cousins in the draft, is not doing as well... 3.2 and 4.2 in 19 minutes.
Still, Cousins isn't satisfied. For the second time in a week, the Kings' 6'11" center has said he wants to show the Nets they made a mistake in not taking him. Asked if he is looking forward to the Nets-Kings match-up in Newark on October 29, Cousins responded, "Yeah, I am."
But hey, it's not about Favors. "I believe I was the best big to come out of college. There was no disrespect toward Derrick for that."
