The Nets round-the-world trip will continue Saturday with a game vs. the Rockets, then (almost) conclude with an 8,000 mile trip across the Pacific. They still have back-to-back games in New York and Boston Tuesday and Wednesday before the trip is officially done. Avery Johnson is hoping before they get some rest, they'll find their offense.
After rolling up more than 100 points in their first two preseason games, they've scored 92, 90 and 81 in their last three and lost two of them. The defense seems fine. They've held opponents to 88.4 points per game without allowing a team to score in triple digits. And they haven't been blown out in either loss. losing by four and 10.
The real question Saturday is can they generate enough offense...after Avery Johnson admitted they've hit the wall mentally and physically.
